It all began – like so many good stories – on a tour bus heading towards the mountains.
I'm Martin. A creative mind, mountain lover, and self-confessed après-ski enthusiast. Once a year, it's time to pack up the ski club, fire up the bus, and get the anticipation pumping. When we set off, you might not know everyone by name yet – but after the first round of snacks and a quick drink on the bus, the ice is broken.
Because let's be honest: A five-hour bus journey feels much shorter with a good mood, chocolate, liqueur and a bit of laughter.
I've always been the one who "just happens" to have something extra with me. A few bottles here, a few snacks there. Generously distributed, of course. But at some point, I thought to myself: There has to be a more stylish way! Why just pass around the drinks when you can serve them with a real eye-catcher?
And it was precisely there – somewhere between a motorway service area and a mountain panorama – that the idea for gondola shots was born.
A small gondola. Made of wood. With attention to detail. Featuring mountains, a ski motif, and space for all your good cheer. A piece of ski vacation to take home.
After my last vacation, the idea wouldn't let me go. Barely home, I was at the computer, sketching, refining shapes, testing variations. The laser was blazing, the 3D printer was running – and a crazy bus idea became a real product. First a prototype. Then another. And suddenly there it was: our first finished gondola.
The first test drive in the bus?
Let's put it this way: The gondola emptied faster than planned – and became the number one topic of conversation.
For me, the Gondel Shot is more than just a beverage carrier. It represents friendship, shared experiences, that special feeling of freedom in the mountains. It symbolizes laughter on the bus, the first runs in the morning, and toasting after a perfect day of skiing.
And now the gondola is going into series production.
Whether on the bus, in the ski lodge, at the birthday party or simply as a gift for true mountain fans – Gondola Shots bring a piece of après-ski wherever good vibes are at home.
And who knows…
Perhaps the next big idea will emerge somewhere between the valley station and the summit.
